The Journey of a Delegate

From Delegate to Diplomat

Every delegate follows the same arc — from quiet research to shaping the final outcome on the committee floor.

Research Position Paper Debate Resolution Diplomat
Step 01

Research Your Portfolio

Whether you represent a country, ministry, or individual, strong research is your foundation. Understand your portfolio's powers, interests, alliances, and past actions before entering committee.

Step 02

Prepare Your Strategy

In UN committees, this means a clear position paper. In Indian and crisis committees, it's your strategy, directives, and possible moves. Know your goals, red lines, and how far you're willing to go.

Step 03

Enter Committee

Step into a fast-paced environment of speeches, negotiations, and constant updates. From formal debate to rapid-fire crises, every moment tests your clarity, confidence, and adaptability.

Step 04

Negotiate & Act

Form alliances, build blocs, and influence others. Draft resolutions in UN committees, push directives in crisis, or drive decisions in Indian committees. Collaboration and persuasion are key.

Step 05

Shape the Outcome

Pass resolutions, execute directives, or steer committee decisions. Your preparation and actions come together to influence the final outcome — and define your impact as a delegate.

DIPLOMACY IS NOT JUST
ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY —
IT'S ABOUT HOW YOU
MAKE THE WORLD LISTEN.
What AMNS MUN 2026 Offers

A Conference Built to Challenge You

Aahan Mishra

Secretary-General

Welcome to AMNSMUN.

I'm Aahan SG, your Secretary-General, and I couldn't be more excited to have you all here. If there's one thing MUN has taught me, it's that the best moments don't always come from perfectly planned speeches, but from the unexpected—those sharp rebuttals, last-minute alliances, and even the occasional chaos that somehow turns into brilliance.

This conference is meant to be exactly that kind of experience. Yes, it will be competitive. Yes, you will be challenged. But it should also be fun, engaging, and something you genuinely enjoy being a part of. Whether you're a first-time delegate figuring out your first GSL or a seasoned MUNer ready to dominate committee, there's a place for you here.

I strongly believe that great committees aren't just built by strong speakers, but by people who listen, collaborate, and aren't afraid to take a chance. So speak up, think boldly, and don't overthink every single line—sometimes the best arguments come from just going for it.

And if things ever feel a little overwhelming, just remember—you're not alone in that. We've all been there. The key is to trust yourself and keep going (a little like Lightning McQueen, just with fewer race cars and more diplomacy).

I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing the ideas, energy, and personality each of you brings into committee.
Let's make this conference memorable for all the right reasons.

Warm regards,
Aahan Mishra

Director-General

Aditya Barde

Director-General

Welcome to AMNSMUN.

I'm Aditya Barde, your Director-General. It's a privilege to welcome you to a conference that we have worked hard to build with care, precision, and purpose.

MUN, at its core, is about discipline as much as it is about debate. It is about showing up prepared, thinking clearly under pressure, and respecting the structure that allows great discussions to take place.
This conference has been designed to reflect exactly that. You can expect high standards, smooth functioning, and an environment where your efforts will truly matter.

At the same time, remember that MUN is not just about winning awards. It is about pushing yourself a little further than you usually would, learning how to hold your ground, and understanding perspectives beyond your own. The experience you take away will always be more valuable than the result.

I encourage each of you to be focused, stay engaged, and give your best in every session.
Respect the process, respect each other, and the rest will fall into place.

We have set the tone. Now it is up to you to bring the conference to life.

Looking forward to a well-run, competitive, and memorable AMNSMUN.

Regards,
Aditya Barde
Director-General.
